Drinking Water Testing
Free Water Test
Arrowhead Water Conditioning can conduct a series of on-sight water tests to determine what’s in your water and the hardness of your water. Tests include:
- Determining the amount of chlorine in your water. The EPA recommends no more than 3 ppm in your drinking water supply.
- A TDS count will be conducted to determine the total dissolved solids in your drinking water.
- A Hydrogen Sulfide test will be conducted. Hydrogen Sulfide is one cause of a “rotten egg” smell in the water supply.
- An Iron test will be conducted. Iron will give the water a metallic taste.
- A pH test will be conducted to determine the alkalinity/acidity of the water supply.
Once we have determined the quality of your water we can recommend which of the WaterMax’s 83 configurations will be needed to provide you with the highest quality water available.

Wondering how to install a water bottle on a water cooler? It's easy!
- Remove the empty water bottle by lifting straight up. Place the bottle out of the way.
- Wash your hands. Using a clean cloth, wipe the rim of the water cooler and the neck of the bottle to remove any dust.
- Place the new bottle next to your water cooler or on a chair next to the water cooler to make lifting it easier.
- Remove the KLEEN PEEL™ Label at the top of the bottle. (Water bottles used by Arrowhead Springs incorporate a special feature that allows water to flow into your water cooler once the bottle is installed, but keeps water from splashing out when installing the bottle on your cooler!)
- Lift the bottle, turn it upside down and line up the hole in the top of the bottle with the protrusion at the top of the cooler. Lower the bottle until it's seated. Remember to lift with your legs and to get help if needed.
- Enjoy Natural Premium Arrowhead Springs water!
